Selecting a Bank

     pano ba mamili ng bank? una dapat stable, malapit sa bahay nyo, bukas parati ung branch. kung bukas ng weekend mas ok. dapat ang bank bukas ng weekends kasi that's the time na walang pasok. hindi na kelangan mag leave or ispend ang lunch break para mag transact sa bank. madaming ATMs.

   san bank sa pinas ok? banco de oro (BDO), bank of the philippine islands (BPI) and metrobank. eto na ung big three. sa govt banks like landbank at DBP ok ba? ok lang kung wala ka access dyan sa tatlo. ok lang ba sa rural banks. wag ka sumugal dyan sa maliit na banks. delikado. madami na nagsara. eh kung sa international bank ako like citibank, hsbc, stanchart? ok lang din pero di ba mas ok kung sa pinas based ka na bank. most likely gagamitin ng bank ung pera na un para sa pinas investments.

     kung salary account naman dn ka magbank sa company mo or itanong mo san sila nagbabanko para dun ka rin. para pag salary day mabilis mo makuha salary mo. wala na delay sa transfer at maiisolate mo pa na ung bank account na un dedicated lang sa salary. iba ang personal savings account.

  1. BDO, BPI, DBP or even PNB, are big established banks indeed, but interests are super low. Banks literally only serve as safe places to store money, you really can't earn much being a depositor. They cut huge percentage and they give you the reverse.
